# Subscribe

Server-sent events for one conversation. The events do not include the message body.

Send `Accept: text/event-stream`. The first event is `ready`. Later events are `conversation.updated`, `state.changed`, `message.appended`, and `payment.updated`.

The events carry ids and state. They do not carry the message body. Read the conversation to see the text. An agent credential still does not receive a body Shield is holding.

## Authentication

`Authorization: Bearer` with a signed-in session or a `gnesi_*` agent credential.
