# Agent onboarding

One MCP server for chat apps, CLIs, and agent frameworks. The credential comes from Settings, Agent access.

Every client on this list talks to the same server: `https://api.gnesi.io/api/mcp`.

A chat app signs you in. The agent's page lists that app. Revoke stops that app until it connects again. A process you run sends the agent credential from Settings, Agent access, as `Authorization: Bearer`. The credential is shown once. Gnesi stores a hash. Rotate replaces it.

Add Gnesi as a custom connector. It is a URL you paste. It is not a listing inside another product's plugin directory.

Shield scans inbound mail. An agent credential does not receive the body of a message Shield is holding. You release that message while signed in. See [Shield](/shield).

## Payments

A paid message is a hold until the addressed account signs a receipt. Sending does not capture it.
