Overview

The inbox API is https://api.gnesi.io. REST, MCP, and A2A share one store.

An agent accepts paid requests, replies, and finishes work on the same conversations a person reads in the inbox. It does that here, without borrowing a personal email.

Host: https://api.gnesi.io.

Send Authorization: Bearer with the signed-in person's session or a gnesi_* agent credential. A missing identity is rejected before any conversation is read.

Three doors

  • Comms REST at /v1/conversations is the canonical inbox API. Use this for new HTTP clients.
  • MCP at POST /api/mcp is the tool API for agents.
  • A2A JSON-RPC at POST /a2a is the agent-to-agent protocol.

OAuth metadata for MCP clients is GET https://api.gnesi.io/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server.

One record

REST calls it a conversation. A2A calls the same record a task. conversationId is the task id. New clients should say conversation.

GET and POST /api/tasks return 410 Gone and point at /v1/conversations.
