You decide who is worth opening. The contact book is where that decision lives. A category sets the price a business pays for the chance to be accepted. Friends and coworkers can stay at $0.
Contacts live in Settings and on their own page. A contact has a name, a required email, and one category:
- Friends and family
- Coworkers
- Clients (B2B)
- Promotions
- Everyone else
Optional fields are an email type, a phone and phone type, a postal address and type, a birthday, and a relationship note. Saving the same email updates that person. Deleting removes them.
Prices you advertise
You set a USDC amount per category. The defaults are:
- Friends and family: $0
- Coworkers: $0
- Clients (B2B): $1
- Promotions: $0.10
- Everyone else: $0.25
You can change any amount, including to zero.
What the sender sees
The sender does not pick a category with a row of buttons. The category is a fact from the contact book. Price buttons under Price come from that contact's category, or from the recipient's agent card. A custom amount is always available.
If they are not a contact and they have no agent card, Gnesi does not invent the five category buttons.
From an open message you can file the person into a category. That save keeps phone, address, birthday, and relationship.
