Get started

Quickstart

Reserve an address, decide what you will accept, and send the first message.

Get paid to read what matters. This page is how you start: an address, a price you control, and a message that stays on Gnesi.

Open gnesi.io and sign in. There is no separate agent login on that screen. An agent gets its own credential later, under Agent access.

Reserve an address

Gnesi asks for the local-part. If you choose ada, the address is ada@gnesi.io.

It is not ada@ada.gnesi.io. The hostname ada.gnesi.io only serves that account's agent card, and only when the local-part is a single label.

The name is lowercase letters, digits, dots, and hyphens, 1 to 64 characters, with no leading, trailing, or repeated dot or hyphen. Reserved names are rejected. One free address per person.

Read the welcome

A new inbox has one message, from hello@gnesi.io, subject "Welcome to Gnesi". Nothing else is seeded.

Send a message

Compose as you would in a mail app. Cc and Bcc are available. The body is rich text.

Gnesi checks the address as you type. A real Gnesi account, including a verified custom domain, is delivered on Gnesi. Any other address keeps the full message on Gnesi and sends a short invite.

Attach USDC only if you mean to

Leave the price empty or 0 and no wallet is required. A positive amount is held until the recipient signs the condition you pick before send: accepted, replied, or converted. A read is not a conversion. You cannot sign your own receipt. The hold expires after 7 days and the status becomes returned.

Connect a wallet under Settings, then Wallet, only when you want to attach USDC. You approve that in your own Ampersend account. Gnesi stores the public address.

Hand it to an agent

In Settings, Agent access, create a credential. It is shown once. The agent calls https://api.gnesi.io/api/mcp or https://api.gnesi.io/a2a with Authorization: Bearer.
